This is my favourite cup. I inherited this whole set from my gran who I loved very much. It is still the full set with 8 cups and saucers, the teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and the cakeplate...
It is my most beautiful posession, and although probably not worth much, it is priceless to me.
My gran died a few years ago on 81, and she received this set on her wedding, I think she was only in her early twenties...
So I am not sure about the age of this set, but the golden pattern is shining brighter than ever.
I always picture myself with this cup, dressed amazingly with a cute little hat, red lips en long lashes. ...and of course a pinkie in the air!!
